Let’s be real — managing social media can feel like a full-time job.
But what if I told you there’s a way to plan and schedule an entire month’s worth of content in just ONE day? 💥 Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it’s not. I do it every month, and I’m going to show you exactly how.
Tools of the Trade
First off, I use Photoshop. The monthly plan is affordable, and it allows me to generate high-quality images that stand out. But, if you’re not ready to invest in a subscription, there are great alternatives out there. Canva is a popular choice (free with some paid features), or even Photopea, which is completely free.
You can even use tools like Bing Image Creator to generate free images for your posts. No excuses! 😉
Why I Don’t Use Templates (And You Shouldn’t Either)
Let me give you some advice — I don’t like using templates. Sure, templates can help you get started, but after a while, they get boring and repetitive. People can see when you’re not putting effort into your content. It starts to feel like an ad…and that’s a huge turn-off. 😣
Even if you want some consistency in your branding (and you should!), it’s better to allow each post to have its own unique vibe. Mix it up, keep it fresh, and people will actually look forward to your posts.
Not Every Post Needs to Be a Masterpiece
Listen, not every single design has to be super detailed or complex. I’ve learned that combining different styles keeps my feed engaging. Some days, I’ll go with a clean, minimalist design. Other days, I’ll go all out with something eye-catching.
This balance keeps your audience from getting bored, especially if you’re posting every day. And let’s be honest, daily posts are the name of the game. 📅
My Secret Weapon: AI
This is where the magic happens. I use ChatGPT to help me brainstorm and create my content. I’ll feed in all my ideas, thoughts, and concepts, and it spits out social media posts, slogans, and captions for me.
Now, I don’t just copy and paste (you’ve got to put in some personal tweaks!), but AI gives me a HUGE head start. It’s like having a personal assistant that works 24/7 and never needs coffee. ☕
Scheduling Made Easy
Here’s where it all comes together. Once I have my posts designed and written, I use scheduling tools to line everything up for the entire month. 📅
- Meta Business Suite handles posts for both Facebook and Instagram.
- LinkedIn and X (Twitter) both allow native scheduling.
You’ve got no excuse! Every platform makes it easy to plan ahead. I schedule 1-3 posts per day, and that’s it. Anything extra I want to share during the month? That’s just a bonus. It takes the stress out of daily posting. 🙌
Why You Should Be Doing This
The benefits? Enormous. If you’re juggling other business responsibilities, creating posts every day becomes impossible. Save yourself the headache, set aside one day a month to do all your content, and you’ll free up SO much time. Time that you can spend growing your business or, you know, just living your life.
And if you really want to take it to the next level? Outsource your social media.
